Third-grade Baylis students celebrated learning as they presented the annual Wax Museum. Students dressed in costume as their favorite fictional characters and silently portrayed them, bringing their stories to life. Parents were invited into their child’s classrooms for a brief tale of fiction delivered through each student’s voice. The presentations marked the culmination of a character study unit in reading and literary essay unit of writing, while the wax museum provides a fun exercise for young children to share their knowledge and love of characters with the entire Baylis school community.
